Political activist Shola Moss-Shogbamum accused presenter Dawn Neetham of mispronouncing her name.
“This is terrible, especially from a presenter,” lawyer and political activist Dr. Shola Moss Shogbamum accused journalist Dawn Neatham of mispronouncing his name on air.
Mos Shogbamim was a guest panelist on Channel 5’s Jeremy Vine show alongside British TV host Carol Malone.
Neatham misspelled his last name after stating at the beginning that he was “excited” to have Dr. Shola on the show.
She continued, “How do you pronounce your name Shola?” To which the political activist smiled and replied, “Please read, please read.”

After the host failed another attempt, Moss Shogbam continued: Especially from presenters. Please go back and try again. phonetically. ”
After several attempts, Neatham said to the guest: Shora is right! ”
But Moss Shogbamim was adamant about getting his name right. “No, you will say my name. Now read it aloud.”
Mos Shogbamim was praised for standing up for himself after the defamation was posted online.
Neatham later shared the exchange on his Twitter handle, calling it “the best panel” and “the most fun.”
