In Howell Township, Monmouth County, homes were dark and debris was everywhere on Saturday night.
A powerful storm knocked over trees and power lines as it passed through the neighborhood.
A large tree fell in front of one house, and another tree fell right next to it, colliding with a car parked in the driveway and the roof.
At that time, the landlord and his wife were at home. They say they’re fine, but when they went outside to check the damage, they couldn’t believe it was that bad.
The storm also destroyed part of their fence, and another car cover that was in the driveway is now missing.
