The concert will return to the Veterans Memorial Coliseum after a three-year hiatus when Arizona State Fair 2023 opens at the Phoenix fairgrounds on Friday, September 22.
Fans can expect some changes to the popular concert series.
“For decades, McDowell’s Madhouse has hosted concerts by Snoop Dogg, Pitbull, Blake Shelton, Kelly Clarkson and even Selena Gomez every night during the State Fair,” said Whannell, executive director of the fair. Costello said in a press release.
“The post-pandemic music industry has forced us to evolve our business model, with all seats reserved and fair admission included in order to bring back headliner talent. ”
According to a press release, this year’s concert will be called “An Evening With…”, which means there will be no opening act, and “grab a turkey leg and spend some funnel cake time before the show.” I can”.
