A New York man has been arrested for threatening to kill Mayor Yonkers and a city police officer at a St. Patrick’s Day parade, prosecutors said.

According to the complaint, Korra began sending threatening messages again earlier this month, writing on March 6 that he was looking for police officers and would “burn the world down” until he was found.

Prosecutors said Cora lives in an area close to where the parade ends and also posted a photo of herself holding an axe.
U.S. Attorney Damien Williams said Cora’s behavior was unacceptable.
“Threatening violence against police or compromising public safety is unacceptable. Korra is currently indicted and sentenced to prison for threatening our dedicated law enforcement partners tasked with keeping us safe. I am facing a sentence,” he said in a statement.
If convicted, Cora faces a maximum sentence of five years in prison.
