Declan McKenna recently sold out all 16 dates on his 2022 US tour. McKenna said of the forthcoming tour: I’ve woven in some new material on tour and I’m ready to show you guys.
McKenna will perform in cities such as Washington DC, Seattle, Philadelphia, Los Angeles, Brooklyn, New York, Nashville and Atlanta from late May through early November (see dates below). The tour kicks off on his May 25th at Montreal’s Corona Theater with support from the Oracle Sisters, Eli Smart and Allie Crow Buckley. Tickets for this tour will go on sale to the public here on Friday, March 17 at 10am local time. Tickets are also available at the artist presale on Tuesday, March 14th at 10am local time and his Spotify presale on Wednesday, March 15th at 10am local time.
Since finishing touring last year, cKenna has been working with producer Gianluca Buccellati on the Zeros follow-up in LA and his hometown of Brighton, England. Of Zelos, Pitchfork said “a nod to Bowie and the Beats on songs about climate change and capitalism, the songwriter grounds his political critiques in the rich tradition of British protest rock.” Jay Joyce mixed and produced his b Spike Stent, his Zeros available in all formats here. He also shared the single “My House,” featuring Rostam’s vocals and co-produced by McKenna and Neil Comber (credits include him with MIA, Charlie XCX, and Florence + The Machine), currently available here.
