Ipswich: AfterDrive see Spotify success with debut single

AfterDrive formed in early 2022 with three of its four members Ben Watts, Ed Raff and Luke Ellis meeting at One Sixth Form College in Ipswich and joining Ben’s brother Joe to form a four-piece band. bottom.

AfterDrive stated that their music was influenced by the music of Red Hot Chilli Peppers, The 1975 and Oasis, bringing an indie rock sound to their music.

Their debut single, Stick Around, was released on February 24, and since its release, the song has amassed 7,556 streams on Spotify in its first two weeks.

The band also garners 4,487 monthly listeners, with regular listeners from as far away as Mexico City and São Paulo.

The 17-21 band was recorded by producer Gavin Monahan, who also worked with editors and Robert Plant.

Their next gig is March 18th at The Smokehouse in Ipswich.
