Today Is the Day delighted fans last week by announcing tour dates in both the US and Europe to celebrate its 30th anniversary.
The band is also working on a new album and will release more information soon. A disjointed but massive tour begins in Maine and travels to Belgium and France. They then return to play in New York and Texas.
Vocalist Steve Austin said:
“Hi, I am so excited to travel and meet friends through the 30th anniversary Today Is the Day show. Last time I played Hellfest I had a great time, No Coast Fest is a popular event and I can’t wait to headline this year’s event and play with the best noise rock bands! My friends Colin Flecknall (drums) and Tom Jack (bass) join me on the road of destruction, visuals provided by Dave Brenner of Gridfail.
“I can’t thank the Today is the Day fans and friends who have been with me over the years. I met my wife while on tour with TITD and Eyehategod. If it wasn’t for TITD and all the people behind the band, I wouldn’t have had her or my sons.It was a lot of fun making a lot of songs from the AmRep era. willpower, supernovaand today is that day”
