Unknown Mortal Orchestra / Amulet
The Unknown Mortal Orchestra has added fall dates to its 2023 schedule, playing the South and Southwest in October and November. Includes stops in Nasville, Atlanta, Orlando, Miami (III Points Fest), New Orleans, Austin, Albuquerque, and more. All headline dates are with amulets.
Janelle Monae
Janelle Monae’s first album since 2018. era of pleasure’ will be released in June, and will be on tour in August to support it.
Interpol
Interpol added two Los Angeles dates to the tour, with Gene Dawson and Marou (10/29) and The Red Piers and Danny Lux (10/30) at the Greek Theater on October 29 and 30. Performed with support. Before that, they will be on tour with the Smashing Pumpkins. All dates are here.
Be Your Own Pet
Reunited 2000s band Be Your Own Pet have announced a tour with their first album in 15 years.
big joanie
British group Big Joanie had to reschedule shows in New York and Chicago earlier this month, but new dates have been announced. In Brooklyn, they’ll play Freida Kill and Babies Allright on July 10th, Clear Channel and Union Pool on July 12th, and Chicago’s Empty Bottle on July 13th.
Pale Hound
Palehouse, who have just released a fantastic new video tribute to The Sopranos, will tour with Empath and Alexaron this fall.
Hold Steady “Positive Jam” Fest
The Hold Steady have announced that their own Hudson Valley festival, Positive Jam, will take place on August 5th at Arrowwood Farms in Accord, New York (same location as Woodsist Festival). The lineup includes Guided By Voices, The Tallest Man On Earth, Laura Stevenson, Oceanator and Talking Heads tribute his band I Get Wild.
Margaret Glaspie
Margaret Glaspie announces new album echo the diamondwill be released on August 18th via ATO, and will embark on tour in September, beginning the Half Moon Run in the UK, followed by a headlining tour of North America later that month.
guns and roses
Guns N’ Roses are about to begin their 2023 world tour. The tour begins June 5 in Tel Aviv and runs through October, with North American dates beginning in August. They’ve added two new US performances to their run, along with openers that include The Pretenders, Alice in Chains, Carrie Underwood, and more.
save ferris
Orange County ska-pop-punk veteran Save Ferris has announced his first Northeast headliner in a long time, including a show at Racket in New York City on August 17th. There are also performances in Mechanicsburg, Philadelphia, Sayreville and Baltimore. See here for all dates.

LA hardcore veteran Fear is gearing up for several shows with the Misfits, including a gig with The Gaslight Anthem in New Jersey on July 8th, and a show in Phoenix on July 15th. It includes performances with AFI, and is interspersed with several headliner performances, including New York.
dresden doll
Last year, Amanda Palmer and Brian Viglione announced that the punk cabaret duo Dresden Dolls were reviving for shows and new music. While we’re still waiting for the new music segment, they’re playing shows and continuing to release new material. Includes New York City and Hudson, New York.
Bushwick Collective Free Party
The Bushwick Collective is hosting two free parties this week. Both parties feature performances by a number of classic hip-hop artists including Ice-T, Grand Puba and Black Sheep. Both are part of a year-long celebration of hip-hop’s 50th anniversary.
Body/Troller/Deadtime
The Body will embark on a tour with Troller and Dead Times at the end of the summer. Dates include Tubby’s Kingston on September 1st and Saint Vitas in Bulkin on September 2nd.
Ithaca
British post-metalcore band Ithaca have announced a US tour, ending their previously announced appearances with Louder Than Life and Aftershock. This includes Brooklyn, Washington, DC, Atlanta, and Austin, Los Angeles.
Freakoutfest 2023
Freakout Fest 2023 takes place November 2-5 in Seattle, and the line-up includes Allah Rath, The Gories, The Spitz, Acid Mother’s Temple, Night Beats and more.
cut the worm
Cut Worms will embark on a tour in support of their self-titled third album this fall, before playing three residencies at Brooklyn’s Union Pool.
reckless eric
Reckless Eric’s new album ‘Leisureland’ will be released on August 25th, with several tour dates including shows with The Dead Boys and The Primsoules.
