Johnny Depp’s ankle injury has forced his band, The Hollywood Vampires, to postpone three dates of their planned US tour.
The band, which also includes Alice Cooper, Joe Perry and Tommy Henriksen, announced on social media on Sunday, “Unfortunately, the Hollywood Vampires will be rescheduling three U.S. tour dates next week.”
“Johnny suffered a painful ankle injury following a recent appearance and has been advised by doctors not to travel.”
The statement continued: “He is devastated by this turn of events, but looks forward to resting so that all four Vampires can perform at their best on the European Tour.”
The shows were scheduled for May 30, May 31, and June 1 in Manchester, New Hampshire, Boston, and Bethel, New York, respectively, but were postponed to late July.
The ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ star, 59, made headlines earlier this week when he attended the Cannes Film Festival.
Fans were horrified by the condition of Depp’s teeth walking the red carpet at the premiere of his latest movie, Jeanne du Barry.
“Johnny Depp’s teeth are literally rotting,” wrote one fan, along with a photo of the actor.

“Why should I see a close-up photo of Johnny Depp’s teeth against my will?” asked one upset user, while another said, “Johnny Depp had someone grabbed his teeth and turned them black.” It just looks like it was painted on,” he said.
“Seeing a photo of Johnny Depp teeth on TL ruined my mood. Twitter is just enough for me,” another voiced.
Depp’s film was enthusiastically received, despite receiving low ratings for his apparently neglected dental care.
After the premiere of the French biographical drama, the actor received a seven-minute standing ovation.
According to Variety, Depp held back tears as attendees cheered for hours on his performance as Louis XV.
The “Edward Scissorhands” star has been out of the public eye since he won a highly controversial defamation lawsuit against his ex-wife Amber Heard, who accused him of abuse.
The ‘Justice League’ actress, 37, reportedly quit Hollywood after losing the lawsuit.
She moved to Madrid with her two-year-old daughter Una.
