MILBURN, N.J., April 4, 2023 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Twenty-six New Jersey high school students have been selected as finalists for original music and lyrics featuring powerful peer-to-peer messages about drug use, misuse and prevention. was 2023 Your Song! your voice! The Shout Down Drugs New Jersey music competition is hosted by the Drug-Free New Jersey Partnership (PDFNJ).
Sponsored by 95.9 WRAT, the competition gives teens a platform to promote their music and become peer leaders by encouraging other teens to live a drug-free and healthy lifestyle It’s a great opportunity.

The 26 finalists, comprising 20 solo and group entries, will be featured in a virtual prevention concert on April 25th.th Winners will be announced live on ShoutDownDrugs.com at 6:40pm on 95.9 FM WRAT immediately after the concert. The 1st place winner will be given her $5,000 music contract, while the 2nd and her 3rd place winners will be given her $3,000 and her $2,000 music contract respectively.
