Two people were killed and five injured in a shooting in Yuma, Arizona, on Saturday night, police said.
Officers from the Yuma Police Department responded to the shooting at about 10:54 p.m. at the 3800 block location on SJ Edward Drive.
The seven victims, all male, were found with gunshot wounds. Two of the victims, ages 19 and 20, were taken to Yuma Regional Medical Center, where they were pronounced dead.
A third victim, a 16-year-old boy, was taken from the Yuma Regional Medical Center to Phoenix for treatment for life-threatening injuries, police said.
The other victims, a 15-year-old boy, a 16-year-old boy, an 18-year-old man and a 19-year-old man, all had non-life-threatening injuries, but were all seriously injured.
The police department said “several off-duty law enforcement officers” in the area helped with the shooting.
As of Sunday, no suspects were in custody in connection with the shooting. Police continue to investigate the truth of the incident and possible motives.
The Yuma Police Department is urging anyone with information about the shooting to come forward, adding that it could offer a reward of up to $1,000 if it leads to an arrest.
