So, in a job akin to actually becoming Prime Minister, we watched both interviews to try and answer the most pressing and important questions about Jacinda Ardern’s legacy.

Hayes finds himself in front of what appears to be a giant lily leaf printed on the wall, while Ardern’s background is decorated with colorful paintings depicting what the scientist can only describe as numbers. It had bright pink walls with gray accents.

When they weren’t sitting down, the camera caught Hayes and Ardern fossicking in her office, creating a dynamic and captivating scene.

1 news: Ardern knows the winds of change are cold, so he wears a serious, dark blazer. John Campbell also wore a nice dark blazer. Because I know what I can do.

news hub: Perhaps a little more thrilling than Ardern’s high neck, buttoned white blouse, and delicate dangling gold earrings was a quick tour of the clothing she’s donating to Te Papa.

1 news: I have some deep questions from JC. As he and Ardern stared at her portrait left on the floor of a hallway inside Parliament, Campbell asked Ardern what advice he would give to the 2017 version of himself.

“You can carry more than you think,” Ardern replied.

“Did you live up to those aspirations, hopes and promises in the most difficult areas?” Campbell asked later. “I believe I did,” Ardern said. “But I never miss the weight, because it’s heavy.” Don’t think she was talking about portraits anymore.
