100 gecs are currently on tour with Machine Girl, hitting Brooklyn at Avant Gardner on April 28th and 29th. Immediately after the 4/28 performance, he announced that he would be “DJing all after-sales at an undecided warehouse”, and tickets are on sale.

Slowdive has postponed its Australian tour that was about to begin. “Drummer Simon Scott suffered a back injury prior to his departure that prevented him from traveling and playing. Mars Volta
Mars Volta kicked off the tour again with Shaky Knees in May and added North American dates in September, including a NYC show presented by BrooklynVegan.

Anthrax have canceled European festival dates this summer that were due to include Wacken Open Air in Germany, MetalDays in Slovenia, Brutal Assault in the Czech Republic and Alcatraz in Belgium. “Sadly we have to announce today that powerful anthrax will not reach Europe nor will it reach the Holy Land due to logistics,” read Wacken’s statement. I have no doubt they will be back on stage at some point because I know they have a friendship!”

Danish duo The Raveonettes will perform at Austin Psych Fest’s 15th anniversary mini-fest on April 29, before adding shows in Mexico City and Fort Worth. They also have European dates in May.
